Jessica Maples-Keller, PHD

Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

Dr. Jessica Maples-Keller is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Associate Director of the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, and core faculty at Grady Trauma Project and Atlanta Trauma Alliance. Her research uses translational models to understand and improve exposure-based treatment for PTSD. Dr. Maples-Keller is interested in behavioral and pharmacological augmentation of evidence-based psychotherapy, including psychedelic augmentation such as MDMA and psilocybin. She is also interested in equity and access in psychedelic-assisted therapy, and research investigating perceptions of psychedelic treatments in diverse groups with the goal of informing culturally-informed psychedelic treatment models. She is also interested in assessment and conceptualization of personality and psychopathology.
